Can anyone list some good movies involving a crisis?

I have an assignment for a class and I need to watch and review a movie about a crisis. I’ve gone through all of my movies, and ones on Netflix & Redbox.com, and I can’t think of any good ones to do. I’ve seen 2012, and I’d rather not use a ‘doomsday’ crisis kind of movie, or a science fiction one about alien invasion or anything.

I have the perfect movie involving neither Doomsday or crisis movie, but more tragedy. My Sister’s Keeper, is the movie. Very realistic, depressing, but inspiring, and beautiful.
