Iron Man 2 review!

Iron Man 2 is the sequel to Iron Man… the movie was based off the hit Marvel comic Book and Cartoon (Stan Lee and Don Heck) and from the looks of this preview it seems that director Jon Favreau (who also directed the first movie) has done it right again. Robert Downey Jr is back as Tony Stark (Iron Man) a funny, cocky billionaire inventor that made the Iron Man suit is back and this time around Iron Man has some assistance from “War Machine” (who is played by Don Cheadle) which I think is a great move to put War Machine in this movie but I would have like to see him played by somebody more “war” looking like Tyrese Gibson but I guess Don will have to due. From checking out this preview it looks as the government wants Tony Stark to turn in his “Iron Man suit” but he refuses and claims that the world is at peace (maybe meaning that they don’t need the suit cause nobody is going to build any suit that is more powerful than his) but of course the government is not going to be to happy about anyone saying no to them and respond with a suit of they own (and I don’t mean Lawsuit) or hire some mad man with two electrical whips to give Iron Man the ultimate whooping!

From the preview Iron Man has an enemy by the name of Ivan Vanko (played by Mickey Rourke) that has something personally against him and is dedicating his entire life to getting some kind of revenge on Iron Man… (I dont know what Iran Man did to this guy but he has pictures and articles all on his walls… I thought he was a fan of Iron man at first) the scene where he comes after him during the race looks awesome and he seems pretty tough himself as he has two electrical ropes that he can whoop Iron Man with.

The movie also stars Scarlett Johansson (Natalie Rushman / Natasha Romanoff) plays the role of a very sexy agent, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts which she seems to fit the bill, Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer (Plays as Tony Stark’s competitor), and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury even though I think they should have gotten someone else for this role but he seems to have an o.k fit.

The movie seems to have plenty of shooting and high flying action pact in it and looks as if it is better than the first Iron Man.

It has every element for a great sequel movie which is action, love, and great effects and with it’s p.g13 movie rating this will be a movie for the whole family to watch.

The only problem I have with the preview is that I would like to have seen more of a “unstoppable” enemy in the preview, even though I like Ivan Vanko I just think he does not appear to be much of a challenge for Iron Man when you compare them on a one on one basis. I would like to have seen a super over sized evil looking machine that can take out Iron Man and War Machine by himself alone than to have seen a man with two electrical whips but then again thats just me, I still think this movie is a must see for all Iron Man fans and I think Jon Favreau did another great job.
