Iron Man Did it Again!

Iron Man did very well at the box office in 2008. Now, two years later, Iron Man 2
has done it again with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Iron Man 2 has plenty of action and special effects. It is amazing what people can do with a computer these days! Robert Downey Jr. is very funny. It is obvious that the character, Tony Stark, comes naturally to him. In this film here’s what you get.
Tony Stark is slowly dying, his body has been poisoned by an element needed to fuel his artificial heart. An antidote and an acceptable replacement element must be found. Stark is getting heat from the U.S. government, who wants the Iron Man technology for themselves. In Washington, Stark publicly insults the senator who’s
on his case and humiliates his rival, billionaire Justin Hammer. Hammer has been trying to build his own Iron Man suit. Russian Physicist Ivan Vanko is seeking revenge on the Stark family because Papa Stark stole from Ivan’s father, Who co-invented the Iron Man suit technology. Hammer also wants revenge. He assists Vanko’s escape from prison and sets the russian to work. He wants Vanko to build him an army of Iron Man suits. Ivan instead builds an army of robots. Stark becomes so popular as Iron Man and this leads to the revival of the Stark Expo, a year long fair based on a tradition his father started in the 1970s. Tony’s dad is modeled after Walt Disney who had dreams of futuristic cities.Stark realizes he must come to grips with his fathers legacy. Stark hands control of his company to Pepper Potts.This will help give Stark Industries a reliable leader. Potts is Played by Gwyneth Paltrow. One of the things I enjoyed about this movie was its ability to keep the plot interesting along with the action and special effects. In my opinion Iron Man 2 is much more compelling than Iron Man 1. Robert Downey is just as enjoyable as the movie itself. His sarcastic sense of humor came across very well.
Since he came clean and admitted he was Iron Man, People are turning things around and trying to back stab and compromise his situation and his company. The animation is really good especially the scenes that take place in the sky. A lot more action scenes than Iron Man 1. There are plenty of bombs,weapons and fights. It feels like an actual Marvel comic. This is the ultimate summer movie, If you are looking for a great laugh and lots of action this movie is for you. I would recommend Iron Man 2 to movie goers of all ages.
