Review of the movie never heartbeat 2011

Heartbeat, the second film by Xavier Dolan, is a realistic look at life twentysomethings wandering. The twenty-year-old Quebec-born actor-turned-filmmaker burst onto the scene in 2009 with the role of French who killed my mother. Heartbeat, also in French, is the height of his first film, however, the technical aspects of his films are much improved.

Heartbeats chronic heart of love bisexual triangle between three friends apparently complex, Marie (Monia Chokri), Francis (Xavier Dolan) and Nicolas (Niels Schneider looks almost exactly like the French actor Louis Garrel). While at a party, Mary and Frankie (Francis) Nicolas warning, a young traveler who is the spitting image of a Greek Adonis. Marie and Frankie soon develop a relationship with Nicolas suggestive, threatening their own friendship as each of them become completely enamored of him. The three of them share a bed, but Marie and Frankie's sexual desire is never satisfied by Nicolas. The film explores notions of jealousy and focuses on the cliché, "Three is a crowd."

People have a natural chemistry that reads either through the screen. Mary is beautiful and dresses like Anna Karina New Wave and other women (one possible tribute Godard). Presentation outside Frankie is bold, but shy and introverted. Nicholas is tan and beautiful. Their behavior is warm and yet it seems completely ignorant of the fact that he is the central object of desire for the other two characters. It is unclear whether it is intentional or just shyness part of the dynamics of their friendship with Marie and Frankie. This leads to the sexual ambiguity of his character which is at the core of the story and if nothing else is strength.
