Why do people flock in droves to see CGI driven films, and then complain they are terrible?

2012 was the big film this weekend, but all the reviews and comments I’ve seen on various sites were from people who were angry that the movie was terrible. (IMDB, Box Office Mojo)

As the CGI in a film increases, the plot and acting decreases.

Because they’re movie hating idiots. They refuse to watch b&w, read subtitles, and think. So the only films left for them to see are the crap CGI ones like 2012. The worst part is, is that they are the same people who complain about there not being any good movies anymore. There are PLENTY of great movies being made right now! And if you can’t find one that sound interesting, why not check out one of the thousands of tested and accepted classics!!
