Is Green Lantern really as bad as everyone says?

Ive been on a movie a week thing since Fast Five came out, and I generally dont take movies too seriously because to me there just a cheap form of entertainment. However, from what everyones saying on the internet, driving down to the farm and rubbing my face in cow shit might sound more entertaining than seeing this movie. My one objection to it possibly being good however, is that with all the reviews and the hundreds of people to say they wont see this, I cant find one person who actually saw it and has an opinion of their own. So, has anyone seen this and can honestly say that its worse than XMEN Origins: Wolverine, or should I just hit the bars early tonight?

It’s your typical comic book movie. It’s mostly eye-candy, fan service, and very little plot. If you’re a fan, or are just going for the visual effects you’ll probably enjoy it. Otherwise, there are certainly better movies out.
