im reading the reviews of the film and write an article on the movie "Hard Candy" i somewhat know what it means, but I need a better definition or example, any review says this is an exploitation film

Exploitation, making full use of derivatives and benefit from the exploitation of film is a kind of film that is promoted by "exploiting" the matter often shocking. The term "exploitation" is common in the marketing of the film, which is used for all types of movies in the sense promotion or advertising. Therefore, the films need some "blow" as a big star, special effects, sex, violence, romance, etc. A "exploitation film," however, depends largely on the sensational publicity and exaggeration wide and rugged of the subjects represented, regardless of the intrinsic quality of the film. Very often, the exploitation films were of low quality in every way (Schaefer 1999, pp 42 to 43.95). However, this was not always so. Exploitation films sometimes attract the attention of critics and a cult following.
