What’s a good mother daughter movie to watch in theaters?

My mom and I will be having some bonding time together tomorrow, and I was just wondering what kind of movie is good for the both of us? She doesn’t watch a lot of movies in theaters, so it’s really up to me to pick one. I wanted to watch Super 8, since I heard good reviews about it and stuff, but it doesn’t look like she’ll be interested.

I want to watch a comedy, something we can both laugh at. Maybe Bridesmaids? It needs to be appropriate though, lol. Or maybe Mr. Popper’s Penguins? But to be honest, that doesn’t look to interesting either. Help?

How old are you? It doesn’t look like there is much out besides action.
