need help finding horror movie?

Okay this movie did have some Commercial time, it was a slasher flick, kinda in the halloween style of story, it came out 5…note the 5…5 months ago. i know the guy wore a mask, 1 guy no girls or group, the reviews from the horror critics gave it raving reviews.

Remember its is a slasher so no demons monsters or ghosts
i know its not
