In the French film, Au Revoir Les Enfants, Joseph learned how Jean Bonnet was a Jew?
I did not quite get it when I saw the film. Julien I knew the book he found the real name of Jean and the incident of pork, but I do not think he told anyone. Also in Roger Ebert comments …. talks about the time Julian inadvertently gave Jean Bonnet. I think it was when the Gestapo entered the classroom. The quick look Jean Julien gave when asked the officer his real name Jean, who betrayed him. Or at least that's what I think it was. What do you think? please ellaborate in own the film or Louis Malle. I saw this movie the day and Othe struck me was how well the story was. On the other hand, I remember when I was just a child, because I attended a boarding school. It reminded me of old times …. innoccent where everything was so, so carefree. If you've seen the movie I recommend it. Au Revoir Les Infants, "also known as Boys Goodbye" or "Goodbye children.
I've seen the movie and loved it, really I remember that part as Joesph discovered Jean was a Jew, but I agree that the film is impressive. people will rent. has subtitile for those who do not know French.
