Were You An Iron Man Reader?
Whether you were an Iron Man reader or not this movie will catch your attention. We now find ourselves in a whole new release of a series of movies. The comic book genre, now I must admit that at first I was a little apprehensive about the “comic book” genre, but I have to say that I find myself being drawn in to see what they are going to release next. The new genre brings all our childhood super heroes to the big screen and in doing so makes us feel like a child for the hour and a half plus that are indulged into our fantasy land. It is something that does not actually threaten our world but makes us feel like if it did that people out in the world might actually be like our favorite super and always be just a light in the sky away from danger. But, let’s think more about the movies that we have been presented in the past decade.
Let’s start with spiderman, now there is a let down as far as a series goes. The first one was good, as least enough for you to want to go see what was going to happen in the sequel, the second is like the same story and as the series goes on we become less and less intrigued with the man who can climb walls. Now a real story that keeps us wanting more is the avengers series. We keep heading back to the movie theater to see what they are going to give us next and I have to say, on my behalf, so far so good.
Iron Man 2 starts with the US government trying its attempts to take the Iron Man suit from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) he finds himself being threatened over the mere existence of his solo suit. He again pulls us in with his witty but sexy sense of humor. His very essence comes to a halt by what we can only assume is a recreation of the “next” Iron Man suit. The sequel again draws us back into a child hood world as we find ourselves cheering on our country’s one man hero, Tony Stark. to once again create world peace. As we also find ourselves falling in love with his love story with his “girl next door” but sultry assistant Pepper Pots (Gwyneth Paltrow). Be prepared for an epic Iron Man versus Iron Man battle. This movie will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for the next clever one liners from Tony and the next battle lurking behind every corner. Not to mention…the avengers! They just never fail to amaze me!
