Whats Next With Avatar, And James Cameron?

Avatar – This movie which was written and directed by James Cameron and had some of the best cinematography I have ever seen, although the story line is something that you might have seen on more than one occasion it is totally worth going to see.

The very talented Sam Worthington who was in other movies such as “Clash of the Titans” and “Terminator Salvation.” Plays a paraplegic Marine by the name of Jake Sully who has to choose between helping defeat the “Na’vi” of Pandora in order to dig for a precious material and in return having spinal surgery that could fix his legs or disobey his orders and save the world of Pandora a place that will soon feel like home to Jake.

This movie had some other very good actors in it such as Michelle Rodriquez who plays “Trudy Chacon” a combat pilot and ex-marine and Sigourney Weaver who plays “Dr. Grace Augustine.” Just the way that Cameron put this whole magical world together Pandora is truly amazing I mean Cameron thought of every aspect and little detail possible. Pandora has amazing aquatic life like the “Anemonoid” a small invertebrate with toxic tentacles. Mountain creatures such as Medusa the “Na’vi” call “Lonataya” a giant electric jellyfish that lives in the skies above the mountainous regions. Even the “Na’vi” the humanoids that live on Pandora while not all that creatively thought up compared to some creatures he created where beautiful, tall, and blue. They speak their own language and have their own ways of life.

James Cameron took ten years to make this movie and while that is a long time in the works he made it one of the most interesting and dynamic movies of our time. The Box Office made billions and it ran up the charts for the number one spot. I really have nothing bad to say about this movie while it could have had a more interesting story line instead of the same love- drama with action attached almost predictable moments just the graphics alone are worth going to see.

This movie is considered one of “The greatest movies of all time,” “a heroic journey.” If you like fantasy this movie has fantasy and if you like action this movie has action or if you like a romantic love story every now and then it has that to. It had a good soundtrack with the theme song being “I See You” and other songs like “jakes First Fight” and “Pure Spirits of the Forest” done by the very talented James Horner. All in all I would recommend this movie for all to see. It was truly a great movie experience and a lasting impression on the way Hollywood is changing the film scene into something new and amazing. James Cameron did a fantastic job on this movie with the way he used such great imagination and the thought process behind it all. I hope we see more from Cameron in the future and more movies like Avatar showing up soon.
