William Edward Reed or Callum Edward Reed?

I’m writing a novel and I’ve narrowed it down to these two names for a forty year old father of two teenagers. Both names fit the character perfectly, so I’m not going into personality and whatnot. The hard thing for me is if Callum is age appropriate for a forty year old man. What do you think?

His children: Gemma Katherine Reed and Asher Edward Reed

William Edward Reed or Callum Edward Reed? Which do you like?

Actually that’s the issue I was going to bring up. Callum is a more modern name, and I think William would better suit a fourty year old.
